These terms are an agreement between you and Twigs, a macOS assistant operated by an independent developer based in Indonesia (referred to here as "Twigs," "we," or "us"). By creating an account or using Twigs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Twigs.
The service
Twigs is an assistant for macOS. You ask it to do things by typing, speaking, or pointing it at what you are working on, and it carries out tasks across your apps and returns a result. Using Twigs requires an account and a supported Mac.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Twigs. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Price and allowances
Twigs is free to download and use. We do not charge for it or take any payment details. Twigs includes a monthly allowance of credits and dictation words for normal individual use; when you reach the allowance, it resets at the start of the next month. We may change features and allowances over time as Twigs develops.
Fair use
Twigs is meant for normal individual use. To protect the service against runaway automation and abuse, we apply reasonable usage ceilings. A normal user will not reach them. If activity on an account is far above typical use, we may pause it and contact you to sort it out.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Twigs to break the law or infringe anyone's rights,
- attempt to bypass usage limits, resell access, or share one account across many people,
- interfere with, overload, reverse-engineer, or attack the service or its providers,
- use Twigs to generate or carry out harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity.
AI results and actions you ask for
Twigs uses AI to produce results and to carry out tasks across your apps. AI can make mistakes. Twigs checks its work before it reports a task as done, but that is not a guarantee of a correct or complete result. You are responsible for reviewing what Twigs does, and for the consequences of the actions you ask it to take. Do not rely on Twigs alone for decisions that need professional, legal, financial, or medical judgment.
Your content and our rights
You keep all rights to your own content and the work Twigs helps you produce. We and our providers own Twigs itself, including the app, the website, and their underlying software and branding. These terms do not give you any rights to that beyond using the service as intended.
Availability and changes
Twigs is in active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and the service may be unavailable at times. We may also update these terms. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Twigs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Twigs is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Twigs is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits.
Termination
You can stop using Twigs and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or use Twigs in a way that harms the service or other users.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
